Davio’s – Northern Italian Steakhouse

This restaurant is #1 on our list for a reason. From the hot, buttery bread that is unparalleled to any other restaurant, to the impeccable service and staff, it hits every positive note on our checklist.

Located in Grandscape in the Colony, Davio’s is a great spot for a pre-movie dinner date. It’s also next door to some exciting activities such as the Andretti center and the newest attraction – the Puttery. This place will become your favorite immediately as well. The food is unique and not your boring old Italian same same.

Joe T. Garcia’s

Located in Fort Worth and around since 1935, this is a must-stop spot for casual Mexican fare in the heart of the Stockyard’s Station area. Get your cowboy fix and learn about the Old West when you venture out here. You’ll certainly feel as though you’ve been transported into a different time period, and trust us it’s as Texas as you can get.

It’s personally one of our family favorites, not to mention family favorite area to hang out on a weekend. If you’re lucky you can catch the cattle drive that happens twice a day before heading over for a relaxing bite on the patio before stomping over to one of the many saloons where you can two-step your night away. Quick bit of advice, be sure to get there early and expect to wait in line to get a table. This restaurant is very busy and is known to have a line that extends well past the door!

Honestly, the food isn’t want makes this a must-try, it’s actually just the environment and the nearby attractions. If you want to get a feel for the city of Dallas, visit the Ice House for a few drinks and walk around. You’ll find yourself at AT&T Plaza, home of the Dallas Mavericks and CBS News.

Eno’s Pizza

There are several locations for Eno’s Pizza around the metroplex, but a couple of our favorites include the Coppell – Cypress Waters location and the location in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. Both have their own mood and personality, but offer a great afternoon or evening out with the family.

In Coppell, you can take a walk around the lake, have some outdoor fun while the kids play and then grab some pizza by the water. At the Bishop Art’s location you can stroll up and down the street stopping at one of the many unique shops along the way, grab a drink at one of the cool bars, and then pop in for a lovely pizza. Don’t miss the fun art along the brick wall ont he exterior of this location. It’s an Instagrammable hot spot!
